Translations now hosted on WordPress.org

I have been using a platform called Weblate as a place for people to collaborate on translating WordPoints into other languages. This has worked well, but recently WordPress.org has added a new feature: plugins can be translated directly on translate.wordpress.org! In order to keep all of the translation work in one place, I’ve moved the translation project over to WordPress.org. This will also provide tighter integration with WordPress, so that translations can be updated independently of WordPoints itself.

To all our translators: thank you for your work! Please check out the new project on WordPress.org and continue your work there. If you would like to be added as a translation editor, let me know and I will work with the WordPress.org Polyglots team to get it done.

Hopefully this will help WordPoints to be translated into many more languages in the future. Anybody who is multilingual can help out, and other users will really appreciate it. So don’t be shy about jumping in!

About J.D. Grimes

J.D. is the creator of WordPoints. In addition to web development, he also enjoys nature photography. The most important thing about him, though, is that Jesus Christ died for him to pay for his sins. He looks forward to meeting Jesus face to face in heaven one day, and he hopes he'll see you there, too.
